How do you charge?

3

I charge by the job, not by the hour. This means you get a firm, upfront price before any work begins. You won't have to worry about the clock ticking or costs creeping up if a job takes longer than expected.

Basic estimates are free, but you can also hire me for design work and consultation on DIY projects as well if you’d like a professional eye on something you’re going to tackle yourself. Dive into your project knowing that your materials list and designs are ready to go!

How do I get an estimate?

4

For most projects, I will need to see the job in person to provide an accurate flat-rate quote. For very simple tasks, I may be able to give you a ballpark range over the phone or via email if you can send clear photos. Many common jobs are quoted per square foot or other standardized measurements and are within industry averages.

What if the job reveals hidden damage (e.g., rot behind siding)?

5

Since I quote by the job, my price is based on what we can see. If I uncover hidden issues like water damage or rot, I will stop immediately, show you the problem, and we will agree on a change order price for the additional repair before I proceed.

I primarily serve homeowners in Noblesville, Fishers, Carmel, Geist, North Indianapolis, and Westfield. I can sometimes travel outside this radius for larger projects, and have regular & repeat customers as far away as Brownsburg and Avon. Please contact me to discuss your specific location.

What areas do you service?

Are there any projects you do not accept?

7

Because I am a handyman and not a general contractor, I do not handle major jobs (anything larger than a full bath remodel). This includes complete roof replacements, major structural remodeling, whole-house repiping, or main electrical panel upgrades. I do not have an electricians license or plumbers license, but I do partner with professionals who hold these licenses and can happily refer or bring them in on projects that require that specialty.
